The Unit for Theological Ethics is working with ethics in connection to the individual disciplines of Theology at Aarhus University. Hence, the unit is comprised of researchers from the different theological disciplines and is working from this point of departure in addressing ethical questions.
The unit is working with both foundational-ethical questions as well as area-specific ethics. This entails on the one hand, that questions on for instance anthropology, normativity and justice can make up the more general themes for the unit. While on the other, that current and important questions for society such as migration, climate, health and welfare also figure as central areas on the units agenda. The areas of the unit hereby also comprise what is called public theology.
The Unit for Theological Ethics sits under the research program connected to The Department for Theology at the School of Culture and Society, Aarhus University.
